Our Gen-Next Consumer Market Insights (CMI) Internship provides students an opportunity to work on our diverse brands and manage the collating information from primary and secondary research (e.g. market information, ad hoc research) and provide useful insights. Unilever is looking for energetic and passionate students to join us in this 6-month journey, whereby each intern is given an opportunity to ‘own’ projects and contribute to the marketing targets while working with highly experienced business leaders and teams.

Key accountabilities
 
We’re looking for 2 profiles –
 

Content Creator/Influencer & Digital Insights Specialist

  • Video Editing, Canvas, Creative, Editorial, Photoshop etc. skills
  • A highly creative and open minded individual
  • Proficient in design software tools (Adobe Photoshop, Video editing programs, Illustrator, Indesign)
  • Have a keen eye for details
  • Excellent verbal, written, visualization skills,
  • Copywriting, editorial skills as extra-curricular interest/ aptitude
  • Organizing ideation workshops - curating workshop inspirations, bringing trends to life as well as handling logistics of the workshop
  • Storytelling skills - bringing presentations or videos to life / beautification of presentation and videos
  • Digital Audits of brand assets e.g. brand websites, social media etc.
 

Marketing Insights and Strategy Specialist 

  • Marketing, Market Research, Communications, Math/Statistics, Economics, Sociology, Media educational background 
  • Appreciation of data and analytics, market research techniques and principles
  • Able to design questionnaires & navigate project management, pool multiple sources of information/data towards desk research, interpret & communicate key findings & recommendations in a succinct & impactful way
  • Naturally curious with an innovation mindset, trends savvy, attention to detail, willingness to work in a highly networked environment with the aim to learn & apply
  • Any past experience (internship/ project) with FMCG client or market research agency (Ipsos, BASES, Kantar, Milward Browth) will be an advantage
  • Hands-on experience/awareness of working with Excel & PowerPoint required
  • Ability to do a full time internship will be an advantage

Minimum requirements

  • Excellent time management skills 
  • For part-timers, must be able to commit a minimum of 2 or 3 working days per week** 
  • Applicants must be students, fresh graduates are not eligible for this intake

**Interns can commit Full-time and swap to Part-time and vice-versa within the 6 months. The flexi swap can only happen once during the internship and must be decided during offer extension
