ShopeePay Intern
Job Description:
The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.
What You Will Learn:
- Acquire offline merchants for ShopeePay QR code payment acceptance
- Acquire merchants via cold-calling and door to door sales pitching
What We Look For:
- Currently studying in a recognized university or polytechnic
- 'A' Level graduates waiting for their university enrollment
- Excellent in communication, enjoys interacting with people
- Possess persuasive skills
- Positive, team-player, and energetic attitude
- Work well in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of local food and beverage and/or retail industries will be a plus
- Prior sales experience will be a plus
- Able to converse well in English, able to communicate in Mandarin, Malay and Indian will be a plus to talk to merchants from diverse backgrounds
Time Period:

- Full-time interns preferred (3-6 months)
- Part-time interns who can minimally 3 working days a week, are also welcome to apply
