Management Associate Scholarship
Job Duties:
Designed to groom talent for leadership roles, the PSA Management Associate Programme (MAP) offers 2 exciting tracks, business management and professional (Engineering, Civil Engineering, Finance and Human Resource) career pathways to individuals who wish to pursue a rewarding career in the maritime industry. This established three-year programme aims to develop young talent into well-rounded managers to lead our business.
Management Associates (MAs) will be placed on an accelerated development programme featuring a combination of these components – job rotations, stretch assignments & projects, strategic/international exposure, mentoring, networking with senior leaders, buddy system and leadership training.
As part of the orientation to PSA’s business, MAs will undergo short structured rotational attachments across various key functions to gain an appreciation of how different areas of PSA are connected. This stint also presents a valuable opportunity for MAs to network with fellow colleagues and PSA leaders.
The MA Scholarship is open to undergraduates who are currently in their 2nd, 3rd or final year of study with local universities. The below requirements will also apply.
Requirements:
We are looking for driven fresh graduates or young professionals (with no more than 2 years of work experience) who have high learning agility, a digital mindset and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Candidates should also have proven leadership experiences and embrace mobility in their career.
Strong academic achievements in any discipline for business management track (or the relevant disciplines for professional track) would be an advantage.
Scholarship Terms:
- $100,000 grant for 4 years of undergraduate studies (i.e. $25,000 grant per year of study)
- 4-year bond with PSA upon graduation
