Requirements

As an officer in the Economic Programmes Directorate in MOF, you can expect a fulfilling career in a diverse and higly challenging range of portfolios, with ample opportunities to work with our public sector leaders to address complex issues. 

You will be part of a team with wide-ranging roles and responsibilities including:

(i) Shape and fund national priorities such as the Committee of Future Economy's recommendations, the Industry Transformation Programme, Research Innovation and Enterprise schemes, as well as the National Productivity Fund;

(ii) Work closely with/bring together a wide range of agencies such as EDB, IE, SPRING, JTC, STB, EMA, A*STAR, WSG, NRF, NCCS, to advance, evaluate, prioritise/re-prioritise and fund policy measures that support economic growth and restructuring. These include measures relating to productivity, internationalisation, innovation, digitalisation, jobs and skills and carbon pricing.

(iii) Shape and manage equity financing and project financing measures to support Singapore-base companies to scale-up.

(iv) Drive value-for-money policy and financing approaches.

Requirements

  • A degree with basic knowledge of finance, economics and/or accounting will be a strong advantage.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to influence and network with different stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
