Job Description

You provide sound and timely legal policy advice to MINDEF/SAF departments on a wide spectrum of legal issues, encompassing civil law, international and operations law, and military law. You are also involved in court and prosecution matters, legal documentation and legislation work. In addition, you conduct legal lectures and trainings for MINDEF/SAF personnel, provide legal support for and participate in SAF exercises and deployments, and perform such other duties and activities as may be assigned. Your challenge lies in being familiar with wide areas of law practice, and being able to communicate legal advice clearly and effectively.


You must have a tertiary qualification in law from an approved university, and preferably have completed your training contract or have at least 2 years work experience. Possession of good writing and communication skills, as well as the ability to assess problems and provide practical solutions, is essential.
