Job Description

You are responsible for planning and organising the post-production stage of the unit's tasking, and ensuring that all creative standards in video editing, graphic design/animation and audio sweetening are met during the course of production. You also produce selected projects, conduct video production courses and provide specialist advice on the upgrade and maintenance of the post-production facility. Your challenge lies in taking on multiple roles and keeping abreast of post-production technology to ensure that the equipment in the facility is on par with the industry's current standards.


You must have a tertiary qualification in visual communication or a related discipline, with at least 3 years' experience in areas such as 3D animation, motion graphics, video editing and broadcast facilities management in a post-production house. You must be proficient in Final Cut Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After-Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. You must also be knowledgeable in video formats and file-based workflows, and be self-motivated, organised and detail-oriented. Possessing proficiency in 3D Studio Max, Pro Tools and Adobe Audition is advantageous.
