Events and Partnership Executive

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Events and Partnership Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events, as well as building and nurturing strong partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Execution

  • Plan, organize, and execute events to ensure they meet company objectives and run smoothly.

  • Coordinate all logistics including venue selection, vendor management, and attendee registration.

  • Develop event concepts, themes, and agendas aligned with company goals.

  • Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.

  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote events and drive attendance.

Partnership Development

  • Identify and build relationships with potential partners, sponsors, and stakeholders from diverse industries.

  • Negotiate partnership agreements and sponsorship packages.

  • Maintain ongoing communication with partners for satisfaction and long-term collaboration.

  • Develop strategies to enhance partner engagement and maximize mutual benefits.

  • Seek and explore new business opportunities and potential partners.

Project Management

  • Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules for each event.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams for timely delivery of event components.

  • Monitor and evaluate event performance, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.

Event Innovation

  • Develop new event ideas, particularly within the graduate space.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative approaches for enhancing event experiences.

Communication and Reporting

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Provide regular updates on event progress, partnership status, and key metrics.

  • Create post-event reports analyzing success and identifying areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a sales or marketing-related position; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

  • Professional demeanor and self-presentation are essential.

  • Prior advertising/media sales experience is a bonus.

  • Knowledge of HR, recruitment, and employer branding practices is a plus.

  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills, with the ability to write accurate and compelling proposals.

  • Open to working in a dynamic, start-up sized organization with quick turn-around times.

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, team player with strategic thinking skills.

  • Willingness to travel around Singapore and occasionally to Malaysia for business.
