Internship – Regional Event Management & Communications
What will you do?
-
Drive projects and key events for Greater China & Intercontinental including event management, collaboration with team members from other functions within GCI and manage internal stakeholders.

Support key events and projects with engaging and fresh communication activities

Develop ongoing communication campaign and assets, including but not limited to slides, briefing documents, and visual/video assets for projects/ events

Produce and write high-quality and engaging stories for broad internal audiences
-
Produce engaging and creative communications plans for key events
-
Write clear, business-focused briefing notes as required for projects/ events
-
Use analytics and tools to advise and inform social media engagement/content plans
-
Organise and support internal events within GSK including logistics, materials preparation and development, creating technical platforms

Analyse employee engagement data and Facebook Workplace data analytics to create response plans

Engage with stakeholders within GSK

What are we looking for?

Has strong communication skills, preferably with an educational background in communications or marketing. Will consider those with a different formal education background but with strong interest and passion for communications

Has excellent command of written and verbal English. Able to write clearly with an audience-centric mindset.

Is able to use basic programmes (e.g. PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, Premier Pro or Windows Movie Maker) to create communications assets

Is able to cleanse and analyse data and provide actionable insights

Is creative and resourceful in problem solving

Looks to the external world for constant inspiration and is able to “bring the outside world in” to GSK
-
Is a team player who can work with other communicators across the GSK business and stakeholders who are embedded in the business

Has a passion in helping drive GSK’s ambition to deliver for patients

Education required
Undergraduate studying a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, from ALL discipline.
Other requirements
Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a credit-bearing internship
Language requirement
Written and spoken fluency in English
