Internship – Emerging Markets Region Oncology
Job description
What will you do?
You will be required to support and assist in the activities in relation to a strategic product portfolio:

Assist in the development of promotional content to convey clear positioning of GSK asset to healthcare professionals (i.e., medical oncologists, pharmacists, nurses etc)
-
Ensure accuracy of claims in marketing content, conduct literature review and ensure claims presented are well-substantiated with appropriate clinical references
-
Tailor the communication of science and data to different stakeholders appropriately (e.g., patient educational content/disease awareness, and slide decks for healthcare professionals)
-
Responsible for the communication and coordination with project teams across business function and geographical location
-
Prepare all internal and external marketing materials in line with industry and company guidelines
-
Perform data analysis to understand market trends and impact to GSK performance
-
Any other ad hoc tasks that may be required
What will you learn?

Acquire in-depth life science knowledge (e.g., tumor biology) with GSK oncology assets

Strengthen your ability to communicate science to different stakeholders with varying levels of complexity while ensuring claims are accurate

Understand what pharmaceutical marketing is and experience the day-to-day operations in marketing and running of the business

Materialise the implementation of business strategies on paper into a real competitive market by being part of content and communications development in materials and activities

Develop business acumen through understanding the strategies applied in a competitive environment

Stakeholder Management – Working with cross-functional stakeholders including marketing and medical

Business management Skills – Gain understanding on how to market a product in an ethical environment

Project Management Skills – Coordination and facilitation of different crucial elements of a business plan execution and deliver on timelines

Discover individual’s strengths, interest, and suitability for the pharmaceutical commercial arena

Education required
Undergraduate studying a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Science & Life Sciences or Pharmacy discipline
Other requirements
Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a credit-bearing internship
Language requirement
Written and spoken fluency in English
