Role Summary:

The intern will have the opportunities to organize employee engagement activities as well as embark in projects to improve HR effectiveness.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate with stakeholders and service providers to organize employees engagement programs.
  • Support HR team on talent discussions with hiring managers.
  • Engage in simplification projects with region/ global team to increase productivity and efficiency. (e.g. OHR data cleanup, process reviews)

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Proficient in MS office software (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook) and online research tools. (eg. Google internet searches)
  • Advanced Excel skills. (at a minimum knowledge of pivots and charts)
  • Strong analytical skills and resourceful. 
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Possess strong written and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a matrix organization.
