As a Graduate Software Engineers you'll be making our machines intelligent; depending on your specialism you could be working on real time embedded software, Mobile App development, debugging, cloud computing or fast prototyping in C/C++.

Market Overview

Our Singapore story began in 2004 and today we have more than 1000 people working here. At the beginning of 2017 we opened our new, state of the art, Singapore Technology Centre in Science Park I, minutes from Singapore’s technology and start-up community. This new Technology Centre houses some of Dyson’s most advanced facilities including Robotics and Sensors laboratories and Smart Home, Connectivity & Mobile Applications laboratories as well as an Advanced Control Tower with the latest technology to develop its analytics-driven activities. Not too far away is West Park, our flagship advanced motor manufacturing facility where we develop our autonomous robotic manufacturing capabilities – more than 300 robots assemble our Dyson Digital Motor (DDM) here. It is here that we develop our next generation of motor technology.

Function Overview

Having launched our first connected machine in 2014, the Dyson 360 Eye™ robot vacuum cleaner, our ambitions continue to increase as we advance ever further into the worlds of connectivity, sensor technology, machine learning and AI. We’re building our capacity to work at the forefront of these fields and are striving for 15 million connected machines in homes and workplaces across the globe. We need the brightest minds to help us achieve this by 2020.


Join us as a graduate and you’ll be assigned to a project team from day one, supporting the evolution of Dyson connected products. You could be working on real time embedded software, Mobile App development, debugging, cloud computing or fast prototyping in C/C++. Whatever you’re doing the work will be challenging and varied and you’ll be in the thick of things. As our software and hardware need to combine to make our machines intelligent, you’ll be interacting with teams across Research, Design & Development (RDD) including product developers and electronics engineers ensuring our solutions are functional, secure and easy to use.


The Graduate Programme is competitive so you’ll need to be academically strong and have the right to work in the country of your application. You’ll be studying a technical degree, such as computer science or software engineering with a demonstrable passion for technology (ideally available via an online portfolio) Standards and expectations are incredibly high within this rapidly expanding team but if you have the passion, creativity and tenacity to influence the future of Dyson’s connected machines – it could be for you.
