Our Singapore story began in 2004 and today we have more than 1000 people working here. At the beginning of 2017 we opened our new, state of the art, Singapore Technology Centre in Science Park I, minutes from Singapore’s technology and start-up community. This new Technology Centre houses some of Dyson’s most advanced facilities including Robotics and Sensors laboratories and Smart Home, Connectivity & Mobile Applications laboratories as well as an Advanced Control Tower with the latest technology to develop its analytics-driven activities. Not too far away is West Park, our flagship advanced motor manufacturing facility where we develop our autonomous robotic manufacturing capabilities – more than 300 robots assemble our Dyson Digital Motor (DDM) here. It is here that we develop our next generation of motor technology.

At Dyson, our internships are about getting hands-on from day one. Not getting bored. In fact, our interns often get to share their ideas with our senior leaders and management. You will experience all aspects of HR – reward, recruitment, operations and talent and you will work closely with HR Business Partners to support the people agenda. You’ll be performing a real role, which may include responding to employee requests, supporting the business with our bold and ambitious people plans, and assisting in recruitment and inductions. You’ll be contributing in your role within a team, but there’ll be a variety of projects to get involved with, broadening your exposure to the role of HR in a rapidly growing business. You’ll need to be organised yet flexible, skilled in building relationships and keen to develop knowledge. You will be studying for a degree but the degree subject is less relevant - what is important is a desire to gain experience in a people function of a Global business and a commercial mindset. The role can be analytical so a head for data is important, as are your communication skills.
