Responsibilities

You will be part of the team to drive the Future Air Traffic Management (ATM) Systems development, planning, validation and downstream implementation to support the provision of Air Navigation Services. You will work closely with various stakeholders including internal CAAS users, engineers, research institutes, external companies, consultants to oversee the administration, development, validation and adoption of new technologies and innovations in ATM systems.

You will also work closely with the Aviation Industry Division and its newly established Aviation Transformation Programme Office (ATPO) to engage key stakeholders, such as Industry partners, Research Institutions, Academia and NRF in the implementation and administration of R&D strategies to accelerate the development of the desired technologies/ research focus areas as well as capabilities for all ATM related projects.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in Science, Technology, Engineering and / or Computer Science related fields;
  • Positive attitude and an attention to detail is a must.
  • Excellent verbal, writing, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and also good team player who is able to work with officers of all levels
  • Provide secretariat support to ATP Committees (Chaired by PS Transport and DG CAAS)
  • Good organisational skills to handle complex projects, related experience in industry development, project management and administration of grant programmes preferred
  • Willing to pick up new technologies and design application areas
  • Familiarity with Air Traffic Control domain is an advantage
  • Ability to travel for overseas meetings
  • Self-motivated, confident and a good team worker
  • Excellent verbal, writing, analytical and interpersonal skills
