Description

Support the frontline ICG marketing coverage teams in the entire end-to-end credit risk administrative control process in terms of credit approvals, credit documentation process and external and local regulatory credit portfolio monitoring and reporting.

Credit documentation process in terms of the following role and responsibilities:

  • Review and custody of credit documentation
  • Credit documentation controls and checks
  • Monitor and ensure timely submission of the required documentation (eg. letter of offer for credit facilities)
  • Conduct due-diligence documentation reviews for CA annual reviews and interim reviews to facilitate release and availment of approved credit facilities
  • Ensure documentation deferrals are in place (if needed) and are valid at all times with no lapse in expiry
  • Classified documentation review for classified names - for newly classified or worse reclassification names to ensure completeness and adequacy
  • Maintain proper inventory record of all credit documentations
  • Control release/availment of approved credit facilities in the credit systems for client's usage

Credit portfolio reporting for external regulatory and audit review purposes:

  • MAS 639 – Single Borrower as well as for internal senior management and IA
  • Top 100 Borrowers
  • Pledged deposits

Maintain a readily-auditable environment by ensuring high standard of audit risk controls in the daily documentation function and processes:

  • Ensure compliance of credit policies and procedures, and also the regulatory rules and restrictions in the day-to-day functionalities
  • Conduct Continuity of Business (COB) testing both onsite and offsite annually with proper documentation of the test results to affirm the feasibility of the Unit’s COB plan
  • Embrace a culture for continual re-engineering and process improvements with innovative ideas for better controls and more efficiency and productivity
