What is the opportunity?

Group Risk Management provides oversight of RBC’s significant risks with specific responsibilities for credit, market, liquidity, IT, product, reputational and operational risks. We also develop and maintain risk controls and limits to ensure appropriate risk diversification and optimization of risk-return on both a portfolio as well as a client/transaction level.  Responsibilities include defining and upholding Risk Control and Governance.  Besides direct involvement in the Asia business processes & activities, GRM executes its risk mandate via its active participation in the various business and risk committees in the region.   

What will you do?

  • Undertake monthly and quarterly GRM risk reports preparation including graphical presentation of risk information, investigation into risk results anomalies, summary of key risk issues and management of key stakeholders for timely delivery of reports to senior management.  Requirement is to generate the reports in an accurate and timely manner so these risk data are presented to the relevant forums including but not limited to GRM Toronto, local & regional management Operating Committees and Board meetings.
  • Assist in specific or ad-hoc projects related to loan portfolio review, including yearly stress testing of the Private Banking lending portfolio.
