Job Description

  • Key interface to the customer on all Strategic Supply Chain Management discussions.
  • Design and Implement Supply Chain Strategies that support our customers’ needs and that ultimately create value that increases our customers’ competitiveness.
  • Work with Global Account Team and Sites to ensure new business awards are efficiently and rapidly transitioned into the sites and all associated Global Materials Strategies.
  • Create and present innovative supply chain solutions to the executive level at our customers.
  • Work directly with Business Development Managers (BDM) on new business opportunities and managing the material portion of the quotations.

The Supply Chain Analyst will be based in Kallang, Singapore. Key interface to the customer on all Strategic Supply Chain Management discussions.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

  • Drive sourcing/pricing strategies in material quotations through various supporting groups and perform pricing analysis to ensure competitiveness
  • Provide periodic re-pricing on existing products
  • Activate price validation and system setup upon project award
  • Develop and lead implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans, including AOS, alternative proposal, risk buy etc

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

  • Co-ordinate sourcing strategies with various supporting groups and customers for cost reduction opportunities
  • Identify opportunity to increase turnkey business through localization and influence customer to use Flextronics Preferred Suppliers
  • Provide budgetary pricing for NPI / Proto build
  • Track materials financial performance (purchase price variance), and initiate corrective action plans
  • Oversea team performance and drive team to achieve assigned targets/goals.
