DSO National Laboratories (DSO) is Singapore’s one and only national defence R&D organisation. It innovates technological solutions to create the critical edge in the Singapore Armed Forces’ (SAF) combat capabilities.

With more than 1,300 research scientists and engineers working seamlessly across the domains of air, land, sea and cyberspace, DSO researches into emerging technologies, matures promising ones and integrates them into innovative system concepts to meet Singapore’s defence and security capabilities.

Today, many of the SAF’s mission-critical systems bear the invisible imprint of our work. We take pride in our ability to fuse our multi-disciplinary expertise into cutting-edge technologies and systems that cannot be commercially procured.

Employer Insight

DSO offers internships of varying durations both locally and overseas. They are specially designed such that undergraduates are exposed to real-life defence R&D work. On top of that, interns get to be immersed in various programmes just like a DSO employee would.
